I may be in the minority here, but I think the Ferrari overstepped its bounds in defending the Audi a couple times. Most notably, I'd point out that the Audi was down on pace because the Ferrari overcooked the chicane and caused damage to the right rear via contact. The penalty should have been a stop and go right there. It was also a very aggressive defense to force the Audi completely off the track. Maybe I'm being a bit of an Audi fan boy, and I openly admit to having a bias against the Ferrari teams.
Good race though. Glad to see the attrition rate wasn't too high and that both drivers are looking to pull through ( though a bit worse for wear ) after that high speed crash early on.

The Ferrari would have had to brake hard (trail brake) to avoid pushing the Audi wide. Just my opinion based on the video. The camera angles weren't the best, unfortunately.

I don't know how that's considered NASCAR style. There would have never been a penalty for that in a NASCAR road race. I guess it just gives the elitists another excuse to hate on NASCAR.

The yellow with just a few laps to go was very VERY NASCAR "let's give 'em an exciting finish".
Honestly, that was the only real problem I had. Well, that and they seemed to take forever to get cars back in order for re-starts.
The Ferrari vs Audi penalty, as long as they reversed it I'm ok with that. Officiating any game/sport isn't a perfect science and as long as you can admit you were wrong and do the right thing, I think that's the most important part.

Yeah, I can't argue with ya there.
